JOIN OUR TEAM

You can apply with us as a student assistant for research projects and teaching at the Chair of Information Systems for the Service Industry (ISS) and the research department Smart Service Engineering (SSE) at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). The chair and the research department form one big team: “I4SE”. As part of your job, you can gain insights into AI-related research and industry projects, among other things, and deepen your knowledge. The DFKI is Germany’s leading business-related research institution. It is active in the field of innovative software technologies based on artificial intelligence methods and works closely with national and international companies. Who we are

The I4SE team headed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang Maaß researches the development and use of artificial intelligence technologies for digital services in the fields of Industry 4.0, sustainability, and medicine/healthcare, among others. In close cooperation with leading research partners, international industrial companies and SMEs, research projects are carried out in an application-oriented manner.
