Gender equality and diversity are gaining increased attention worldwide in different sectors, and are considered crucial to development and wellbeing. Research and innovation is one of the sectors into which the integration of gender equality and diversity is taken into account by international organizations such as the European Union, governments, universities, and research institutions.
Our I4SE research group, as a scientific team working on the latest innovative ideas on artificial intelligence, is committed to increasing gender balance, as well as providing a gender equal and diverse working environment where all talents can thrive. 45% of our research assistants and in general more than 30% of our international team are women. In regard to diversity, our team consists of 11 research assistants and 27 student assistants from 13 countries, and we aim to in have more women and international researchers and students into our team.
