Project Description
The TUCANA Service Platform is a distributed system consisting of both internal and cross-device networked web applications. Through a decentralized edge computing approach, both the data management and the data analysis on the respective devices (mobile, desktop etc.) are made possible. By ensuring local and global (peer-to-peer) networking of various web applications through the platform, data can then be exchanged and results and analysis methods communicated to provide additional services.The goal of this architecture is to give the user full control over their personal information and to physically store and evaluate it on their devices through analysis applications that can operate on that data. This eliminates the need to store and evaluate the data in a central cloud environment.
